Re: [7.0 Beta 4] Dal Does Not Shut His Trap

Ah, fair. I managed to stop the messages by selecting another quest that Dal Busta was involved with (in my case, I picked A Foolproof Plan). It did stop the messages, and stopped the guidance marker from jumping around... Only issue now is when I deployed the satellite at the settled marker, the qu...

The setting is working as intended, but the effect you are seeing is not controlled by this setting unfortunately.

I believe you are in Memory of Profit IX Devs have already answered this problem in another topic .. https://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=5167835#p5167835 .. But why is the sky box / planets internally reflected ? Because there are limitations on how well we can fake reflections. As long as we...

[6.00 Beta 7 build 496124] Excessive reflections in certain sectors - Settings required explained.

Hi all, I'm having real trouble in certain sectors with cockpit glass reflections; in some instances they are taking over the entire screen. I have set the Cockpit Glass Reflections setting to 0, only to still end up with the issue in the attached screenshot. Updating my graphics drivers, and reboot...

We were told only last week that there were plenty to go round for everybody, so where did they all go?
Almost like it was BS! :D
Like the fuss with Covid for those who aren't sick, frail, elderly or overweight.
Agree to disagree on that, I'm afraid.

Re: Starsector (fka Starfarer)

Yea, it's a known "feature" of Windows 10 / Windows Defender. It's because it's not been downloaded by many people and will have not been through their cloud virus screening thingymajig enough times to prove it's safe. I asked the dev about it ages ago and it's a recurring theme: https://twitter.com...

Well done Alan, good work. :) While they were so occupied, a fit and healthy lady pedestrian interrupted them and insisted that they move their police car so that she could use the pavement unimpeded (it was possible to get past the car on foot without going into the road or hedge). The police basic...

Re: lucky Ebay stuff

I've got some things I can sell now, but I don't know how I would. Ebay keeps offering me low sellers fees, and I could make use of them, but it seems like a lot of things could go wrong, so I've not bothered as yet. I'll be honest, I've had nothing but grief selling on ebay, but then the last two ...

Re: lucky Ebay stuff

Not lucky buying, but lucky selling. I had an AMD 5600XT that I bought brand new in Sept 2020 for £260 from Amazon. I managed to get my hands on an nvidia 3070 for the MSP in December, which was a bit of a shocker. I let Christmas get out of the way then put the 5600XT on ebay as 'used, very good co...

Re: Coronavirus: COVID-19

He got the same response when he came to Bristol a week or two ago. A local reporter asked whether his visit was "necessary" travel, and I agree with the reporter. He was purely here to revel in the achievements of others setting up the mass vaccination site. Saddened to see the Boris Pity Party Tou...
