I don't think so.

Under 1000 online users now. Way less that the "record". Perhaps the new software is bloated?

Probably time to add a new HDD to the server. The old magnetic tape drives just aren't cutting it anymore.

Rebirth launched today, so the forums are going to be being hammered by people who bought the game. Egosoft have better things to be doing than worrying about off-topicers arguing the various merits of belly button fluff vs awkward toenails

Remarkable responsive today. Did someone press the Turbo on that 386, or is the interest on the new software already over?

I suspect that CBJ was not compiled for the plain 386 instruction set.

There was a post on the Egosoft home page that said they they were moving to updated hardware on the servers. Either that or they've employed some more hamsters!
